Cleaning and checking a hearing aid can mean different things for different hearing aids. Many hearing aids have some form of wax guard or filter. We replace all types of these as part of our routine service. Newer Behind-the-ear hearing aids often have a rubber dome or tip on the end. They come in many different shapes and sizes and each manufacturer has their own type. The type of dome (open, closed, power, etc) is very important the acoustics of the hearing aid itself. Replacing these domes and insuring proper fitment is also part of our standard service. Other types of hearing aids may have slim or standard tubing and ear molds may have vents that need cleaned or adjusted. We can service all major brands.
